TINE Tretten
An extension of about 3,600 m² to TINE's dairy at Tretten in Norway, built while production ran at full capacity.
TINE Tretten lies about 30 km north of Lillehammer and is the only porridge plant of TINE, Norway’s national dairy group. It also makes processed cheese, cheese sauces, industrial sauces and rice cream. A persistent lack of space led to the extension, designed and built between 2015 and 2020.
The main element is a corridor zone that continues the existing corridor through the building. Goods, staff and technical services run on separate routes within it, and the zone is dimensioned so the plant can be extended further in both directions. The existing floor plan was reorganised as part of the work.
