Storvik Mosjøen
A 1,500 m² mechanical workshop with offices in Mosjøen, northern Norway, close to Alcoa's aluminium plant.
Designed from 2024, the new workshop for Storvik AS combines a large hall, dimensioned for overhead travelling cranes and heavy services, with offices and social spaces. The design focuses on daylight in both the workshop and the office wing. The façades take up the industrial character of the site, and one colour and material concept runs inside and out. The office worked for the Norwegian contractor Consto under a design-build contract, including the landscape works around the workshop.
