Siva Finnfjord
Offices, workshops and laboratories for the Finnfjord smelter, in two phases.
The service building at the Finnfjord smelter on Senja, northern Norway, holds offices, locker rooms, workshops, social areas and laboratories. It was delivered in two stages. The first, from 2010 to 2012, established the original service building of some 3,500 m². The office carried out the detailed design for the Norwegian contractor Barlindhaug under a design-build contract. The second, from 2021 to 2025, added offices, social areas, workshops and laboratories. The building supports the day-to-day operation of the smelter, with a focus on working conditions, flexibility and connection to the existing plant.
