RAS Belsvik

Large-scale RAS smolt facility developed across two phases, from hatchery to post-smolt production. One of Norway’s largest smolt facilities, developed in two phases. Phase 1, covering hatchery to smolt, was completed in 2013. Phase 2, extending production to post-smolt, was completed in 2022. The facility features a full-length viewing corridor with glazed partitions facing both the office areas and the RAS systems. The building volume is divided to respond to the site, with a facade referencing the traditional boathouse typology of the coastal setting.
