NRS Dåfjord

Dafjord Setfish facilities are a smolt facility located at Winterneset in Dafjord, Karlsøy Municipality, Troms County. The plant was developed by the Norwegian Royal Salmon (NRS), and is now owned by SalMar. With an investment of approximately $75 million, it is among the world’s largest and most advanced mill production facilities. The plant is designed to ensure maximum flexible production flow so that production can best be adapted to varying needs of smolt in terms of size, quantity and delivery time. The building contains production, administration, furniture and necessary support functions. This provides closeness between functions and facilitates effective communication and collaboration across professional environments.
