InnovaNor Senja
A 17,000 m² salmon processing plant for SalMar Nord on Senja, northern Norway, completed in 2021 and extended since 2024.
SalMar Nord’s salmon processing plant at Silsand on Senja, northern Norway, was designed from 2018 and completed in 2021. It covers about 17,000 m² and has a filleting line. Besides the production halls, the plant has chilled storage, freezing and frozen storage, a workshop, CIP and chemicals rooms, a refrigeration plant and parts storage. A technical mezzanine above production carries the service routes. The complex also includes an administration wing for SalMar Nord with offices and a canteen for all employees. An extension with additional production area and an office floor has been under development since 2024.
