Completed at Frøya in 2010, InnovaMar brought slaughtering, processing and SalMar's head office under one roof, in one of the most advanced salmon facilities of its time.

InnovaMar was built for SalMar at Kverva, Frøya in 2010: 17,500 square metres housing slaughtering, processing and the group’s head office in a single facility. The waters outside hold some of Norway’s densest farming areas, and the building was placed on the quay with one direction of flow through the plant, from live fish at intake to packed product on the truck. The plant processes up to 60,000 tonnes of salmon a year.
